OUR MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES
Mountain States Children's Home
Mountain States Children’s Home extends Christian services to wounded children in an effort to meet their physical needs, heal their emotional hurts, challenge their minds, and teach them moral principles, in order to reach the goals of reuniting them with their families or preparing them for independence. This is accomplished by utilizing a family model of care, strengthened by professional counselors and teachers.

Wednesday Ladies Class
Wednesday mornings at 10:00 AM all women of the church and friends and visitors meet for a 'ladies-only' study and discussion.
It is an uplifting time of open study and conversation.
Held in the fellowship hall.

Thursday Men's Breakfast
Each Thursday at 9:00 there is an open invitation for men of the Canon City church to meet for fellowship and conversation.
Meeting is at a local restaurant (discussed at church on Sunday and Wednesday).
It is a good time of encouragement and strengthening.

First Sunday Potluck
The first Sunday of every month, immediately following morning services, the entire congregation gets together in the fellowship hall for lunch.
Food is prepared by individual members and it is a fun time to visit with each other.

Sunday & Wednesday
Small Group
Coffee is made, popcorn is fresh, and a small group open discussion is held. Extra insights and different perspectives are explored in biblical - spiritual topics.
5:00 PM Sunday, 6:00 PM Wednesday in the fellowship hall at the church.
Another great opportunity for friendship and personal development.
